2. Scope
This policy applies to the ClevaPDF website, its local PDF tools, communications sent to us, and related website analytics. It does not govern third-party websites linked from ClevaPDF.
3. Local document processing
When you choose a file, ClevaPDF reads and transforms it within your browser using code already delivered to your device. Document contents, filenames, extracted text, file metadata, page selections, and generated outputs are not transmitted to Clevaway or Google Analytics. We have no upload endpoint, user account, or server-side document storage for these tools.
Files remain available to the active browser tab only while needed for your workspace. Resetting the tool, refreshing, or closing the tab releases the application’s references. Downloads are handled by your browser and device. Browser extensions, managed-device software, and your operating system remain outside our control.
4. Personal information we may collect
Website delivery and security data
Our hosting and network providers may process IP address, request time, requested URL, response status, browser or user-agent information, and similar server-log data needed to deliver and protect the website. Your documents are not included in these requests.
Optional analytics data
If you consent, Google Analytics may process cookie identifiers, approximate location derived from IP address, browser and device characteristics, referring page, pages viewed, and interaction or session information. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled in the site tag. We do not send document-derived information to analytics.
Communications
If you contact us, we receive the contact details and message content you choose to send. Please do not attach confidential files or include document contents or filenames.
Information we do not knowingly collect
ClevaPDF does not require an account, payment information, precise location, government identifiers, or biometric information. We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information through the PDF tools.

We do not sell personal information for money. Provider contracts and account settings should be reviewed periodically to ensure they match these commitments.
7. International transfers and retention
Providers may process technical or analytics information outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, we rely on adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, or another lawful transfer mechanism and appropriate safeguards. Transfers governed by Cameroon law are also subject to any prior authorization required by Law No. 2024/017.

California residents
Subject to exceptions and applicability thresholds, you may request to know, access, correct, or delete personal information and receive information about its categories, sources, purposes, and recipients. You may exercise applicable opt-out or limitation rights and will not receive discriminatory treatment. In the preceding 12 months, the categories we may have collected are identifiers, internet or electronic activity, approximate geolocation, and correspondence. Email info@clevaway.com with the subject “Privacy request.” Describe the request and your jurisdiction. We may verify your request using information reasonably necessary to prevent unauthorized access. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted, subject to proof of authority and identity verification. You may appeal a refusal by replying to our decision.
9. Cookies and privacy choices
Analytics is off unless you accept it. Use “Cookie settings” in the footer to change your choice. A supported Global Privacy Control signal is treated as a rejection of optional analytics. See our Cookie Policy for details.
10. Security and children
We use data minimization, local processing, encrypted HTTPS delivery, access controls, and security headers as appropriate. No online service is completely secure. Keep originals of important files and use a trusted device and current browser.
ClevaPDF is a general-audience service and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Where Cameroon law applies, consent for a minor under 18 must be supported by a parent or legal representative. A parent or guardian who believes a child sent us information should contact us for deletion.
11. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the service, providers, or law changes. We will revise the date above and provide additional notice where required. Questions and requests can be sent to info@clevaway.com.
