Cookie Policy
This policy explains the cookies and similar browser storage used by ClevaPDF and how to control them.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files stored by a website on your device. Similar technologies, including local storage, can remember a choice or support website functionality. These technologies are separate from the files you choose for processing.
2. Our approach
- PDF and image contents are processed locally and are never placed in cookies.
- Optional analytics does not load until you affirmatively accept it.
- Rejecting analytics does not reduce access to any PDF tool.
- You can revisit “Cookie settings” in the footer at any time.

Your browser may shorten these periods, and a cookie can be refreshed on later visits. The ClevaPDF application does not currently set another first-party cookie. A hosting or security provider may use a strictly necessary technology at the network edge; if the deployed provider configuration introduces one, we will update this table before relying on it.
4. Google Analytics
With your consent, Google Analytics helps us understand page visits, device categories, referring sources, and general interactions so we can improve ClevaPDF. The integration disables advertising personalization and Google signals and does not send filenames, document contents, extracted text, page selections, or generated files.
Google may process analytics information in other countries. See Google’s own privacy and data-processing materials for more information. Clevaway’s use and legal basis are described in the Privacy Policy.
5. How consent works
- On your first visit, analytics remains off while you consider the choices.
- Select “Accept analytics” to allow Google Analytics or “Reject analytics” to keep it off.
- Your choice is saved locally for up to 180 days, after which we may ask again.
- Open “Cookie settings” in the footer to change or withdraw your choice.
If you withdraw consent, ClevaPDF disables analytics and attempts to remove its analytics cookies from this site. You may also delete cookies in your browser. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred lawfully before withdrawal.
6. Browser controls and Global Privacy Control
Most browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies and clear local storage. Blocking all storage may cause the consent choice to be requested again. Where the browser exposes a Global Privacy Control signal, ClevaPDF treats it as a rejection of optional analytics.
7. Changes and contact
