ClevaPDF is designed so document processing happens on your device, not on our servers.

Local document processing

When you select a file, ClevaPDF processes it locally on your device. ClevaPDF does not upload the file, store it, or send its filename, contents, extracted text, binary data, or document metadata to analytics.

What leaves your device

The website must make ordinary web requests to load its HTML, styles, scripts, and PDF-processing libraries from its hosting provider. Those requests may include standard technical information such as an IP address and user-agent string. Your selected documents are never part of those requests.

Files and downloads

Selected files remain referenced by the current tab while you work. Resetting a tool or closing the tab releases the application’s references. Finished documents are saved using your device’s normal download behavior.

Analytics

ClevaPDF uses Google Analytics to measure site usage, such as page visits and basic device information. Selected documents, filenames, contents, extracted text, and document metadata are not sent to analytics.

Device limits

Processing capacity depends on available memory, device performance, file size, and document complexity. A failed local operation does not cause the file to be uploaded elsewhere.
